Police entered private property for multiple times and threated district councillor and residents with guns.
At 02:35 in Tseung Kwan O’s Beverly Garden, the district councillor told the police that they were not welcome in the area. The police were agitated and yelled, “you are not the district councillor of this district, how can you get in the housing estate? And why can the social workers enter?”
At 02:42, the police entered the housing estate again. Meanwhile, riot police pointed guns at citizens at close range.
At 02:45, citizens called police at the scene “murderers”.
Police even told reporters to “Bear the Consequence” for staying at the scene.
In Tseung Kwan O in the early morning of November 9, police shot tear gas directly at citizens within 10 metres and deployed pepper spray at close range.
Police ordered members of the press to leave, otherwise they would “bear the consequence” as the police would “apply force indiscriminately”.
PTU Commandant David Jordan appeared in Beverly Garden in Tseung Kwan O at 03:19.
